Photos Hide vs Delete....

Just curious what hiding a photo does.

If I hide a photo on my iPad, does it hide it on my mac also?

If I have a mac with the keep original settings.

And i have another problem. How to unhide a hidden photo. I have selected a photo and right click it, choose 'Hide 1 Photo', then the selected photo is hidden. Now, i cannot find the photo to display again.

There should be an album called hidden photos.

If it's not visible look around for a menu that says "shown hidden filter" like the deleted files folder.
