So, I started looking at changing over to Photos from iPhoto (yes, I know I'm a little late) and when I get to the part "Use iCloud Photo Library" I get prompted to upgrade my iCloud Storage: "This Mac is storing 7.61 GB of photos and videos. You have 3.50 GB of iCloud storage available." And then shows me plan options.

My question is, how is this being calculated?

I have looked at just my iPhoto Library and it is 16.27 GB. Where is it getting 7.61 GB from?

Also, I'm guessing it's only talking about my iPhoto Library? And not my Pictures and Movies folders as well, correct?

Thanks!
