Photos in "Photos" app not in order -- why?

The photos I sync from Aperture don't appear in chronological order on my iPad. Any thoughts why that could be?

It must be one of those problems everybody has and ignores. Like the crazy defect that Apple's Photo apps (iPhoto, Aperture) don't offer an easy method of moving photos between libraries.

It would also be nice if Apple would "allow" us to rename them in the phone.
