Photos keeps saying photos are new items

Hi everyone,

I have uploaded all of my photos from my iPhone and from my Digital Camera to Photos, but it keeps saying that old photos are new items.

For example, I have 2,725 photos on my iPhone, which have been imported. But Photos wants to import them again as new photos.

How can I tell Photos that these items are not new and to not include them in "Import all new items"

If it says "Import All New Items" that's what it will do, just import all the "new" photos, not All.

If it says "Import All New Items" that's what it will do, just import all the "new" photos, not All.

When you select that option, it shows just the new items that will be imported. But it shows lots of old photos and imports them, even though they have been imported before.
