Hi... hope someone can help!!

I am just lost as to what's happened to all of my photo's which are very valuable to me sentimentally xx

Problem.....
When I look at the icon for the jpg photo... it has a small curved arrow on the bottom left corner and when I double click to look at the photo.. the message appears
"alias jpg...... cannot be opened because the original item can not be found"

Where on earth are all of my photo's... I have searched for them in 'find' and only these alias icons appear.
Does anyone out there know how I can retrieve my photo's?

I'm looking for some help with my imac on the Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia, there is no shop here at all... is there some mac-savvy helpful person around here???

Hope you can help
:)

Double click on your hard drive icon, then click to open your Home folder,
then check in either the photos folder, iPhoto folder or documents.

Each time you save your photos, you have a choice of where they are saved to.

If you named your photos try checking in spotlight.

Clicking the " i " at the end of the listing will tell you where it is.
