I like keeping my iPhone completely independent of computers. It's worked nicely till now.

Trying to put some photos (in folder) onto the phone however I can only 'sync' them over. There's no way to just 'drag and drop' if you like. How would I go about simply putting them on the phone, whether directly into camera roll to sort myself or for it to recognise the respective directories of photos?

Thanks.

There are some apps that do that, PhotoSync and maybe DropBox. You might be able to use iExplorer on the computer to get at the photo directories, never tried it but iExplorer is free so you could give it a whirl.

I've tried iExplorer to no success and I don't trust DropBox (but that's not the point; a way to transport photos without the need for internet).
