Hi there,
I'm hoping someone might be able to resolve a problem I've encountered while setting up my new 16 inch MacBook Pro.
i followed the prompts on the new MBP to set it up and migrate all the information from my old desk top iMac. This morning I tried to open photos but got this instead.

Has anyone got any idea how to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

thanks for that.
i did as suggested and a little message popped up in the middle of the screen saying No Available Windows.
What does this mean?

Ok so I moved the curser to the top right corner and redid the action. It brought up a library repair window which I continued with but then another window opened saying library repair failed.
I don’t know what I should be doing? This is a brand new MacBook Pro 16” too.

Look at the pic you posted above.
See where it says "open other..." ??
If you click that, are you able to "manually select" your old photo library, "pointing the way" for the new Photos app to find?

IF that doesn't work...
Can you locate the old library on the iMac, using the finder?
If so, can you copy it to an external drive (USB flash drive or hard drive), then connect the drive to the new MBP?
Then... open Photos on the NEW MBP, and "import" the pics from the external drive?
