Photos not showing on Siri watch face

Anyone else had this issue?

Photos suddenly stopped showing up on the Siri watchface.

They do show on the photos app in the watch including memories.

I have watch OS 8.5 and iOS 15.4 but the issue started earlier.

I have photos on as a data source. Also I tried resetting the watch and starting from scratch, but no luck ?.

Any help is welcome!

I’ve been using the Siri face for a few years now and I get a photo pop up on the cards maybe once or twice a month, tops. Doesn’t bother me because I don’t necessarily need it there but that’s been my experience.

My experience is the same.

One thing that might not help now, but might if they show up again. As I understand it, the Siri face customized based on how you use it. If you never click on the photos when they come up, you’ll likely see them less frequently In The future, so next time you see one, maybe click on it to show that the data is of use to you.

I got the same issue here. I used photos quite ofthen. For me it it started around WatchOS 8.

I wonder if it is a bug and if Apple is aware

Apple being aware makes no difference. They don’t make moves unless the tech media outlets make a stink of it so unless this is being reported by 9to5 Mac, MacRumors, AppleInsider, etc… I wouldn’t hold my breath for a fix. Basically, it has to be widespread and annoying enough for the majority.
