That's the fakest pic I've seen.

It's strange that the iPhone 5 keeps leaking out, and nothing with an iPad mini except from cases from 3rd party suppliers.
No parts or anything.

Yup exactly, this whole ipad mini idea is more than likely another rumor by Apple zealots.

why does every "leaked" photo have to be taken with such low res cameras... you can hardly buy a smart phone without a 2-3 megapixel camera now days.

Do a google search for ipad mini and you will see a lot.

Now THAT is funny.

I can't see a front-facing camera. Is it me, bad light, or a bad photoshop?

There is no iPad mini. There is only the new iPhone with a 5" screen.

7" tablet is too close to the 5" iPhone. IMO, there will be no iPad mini.

That sounds plausible, though foolish business- wise.
As this chart shows, Apple has a form-factor/ revenue gap in it's product line.
I'm not sure what intelligent reason Apple would have for letting Google take that gap away and run with it? Maybe we can ask Steve Jobs.

5" is a lovely diagonal dimension for a wireless monitor too. If that functionality is built into the iPhone 5, it would be great, but sadly, 7" seems to be the deminimis 'sweet spot' for minimized zooming/scrolling on a readable screen. Hence the anticipation.

If there is an iPad Mini it certainly isn't that one. For starters, there's hardly any bezel on the sides; that's both not in keeping with the existing iPad's design nor practical on a touch screen when one's thumb has to rest somewhere.

The biggest problem is.

Where are all the leaked parts?
iPhone 5 is all over the place, but hardly a sniff of iPad mini parts.

Not incorrect. Your chart says that the mini will occupy price points from $0 to $350.

It doesn't say that at all unless you look at it in the most simplistic way.

(1) Only the iPhone goes down to $0, and only because it comes with an expensive contract, it is very old (3GS), and it has to compete with other "free" phones. There is no expectation of this with a brand new model in the iPad line.

(2) There is pricing overlap. Note the iPad 2 drifts into iPad 3 territory depending on included features. Even the iPod is flirting with iPad territory at $399. Therefore, iPad Mini could drift into base 10" iPad territory depending on features.

Anyway, going back to the original point of this thread, here's a newer picture:
