Anyone able to post photos of their skins for the 11-inch or 13-inch iPads, including if they have them for their magic keyboards

I bought the 11-inch this year. In the past, I used Xtremskins, the black leather design, including for the magic keyboard.

It would be nice to see other people's photos for inspiration, for a different design. From the black leather design I've used. Thank you

At the moment there are only these compatible with the new magic keyboard

In xtremeskins there is no new emagic keyboard yet, but there is for the new iPad, even for the apple pencil proEma Xtreme

has anyone ever had to take a skin of a MK? I have one on my old one was going to remove to sell but wondered if it would come off and not cause damage.

I had a skin for my MK from dBrand and the color around the edges wore off pretty quick from usage. Even though they said it leaves no residue, it left a TON on mine. It took over an hour or so with a hair dryer trying to get the adhesive off. Really like the idea of a skin, but I'm not sure if I'd do it again.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Exactly what I am afraid of…

Found the pictures I took trying to remove it. The vinyl part peeled off the sticker part first and left that behind. Then each time I tried to pull the sticker part back it ripped.

The photos of the residue were after I used a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive and pull centimeter by centimeter still coming off in pieces.

Once I had the sticker off I used a ton of alcohol wipes rubbing the adhesive off for like an hour or two.

Surprisingly after all that my MKB survived and was fine but it’s definitely something k never want to deal with again. No matter how pretty or protective a skin may be.

What Skin company was this from?

Did you by chance contact them?

I didn’t. I had already had an issue with the first skin of my iPad Pro not matching correctly and needed a replacement shipped. It was a lot of hassle and I didn’t really want another skin after that point.

I can’t stand the material that the keyboard is made out of so I always slap a skin on it ASAP. I’ve got a couple on pre-order, but needed something NOW so I ordered a 12.9” skin from Xtremeskins, knowing it wouldn’t be a perfect fit, but that I would at least be able to pick the damn thing up without freaking out about fingerprints etc.

This is the matte black and it is a couple of mm short on the side, as expected, but doesn’t look as bad as I thought it would.

I’ve removed these skins before a few times and there’s been absolutely no residue left behind. You just have to go slow and carefully. And, if all the else fails, then use Sticky Stuff Remover!

I came here to mention decalgirl as well. Love their products. I was disappointed to see the reviews on the pencil skins with gaps, etc.
I saw those comments. I wonder if the gap was for the flat charging side. I didn’t consider the pencil skin after reading the reviews about the gap.

seeing this made me cancel my dbrand preorder. ive had a dbrand skin on my other magic keyboard for about 3 years now and its perfectly fine. but if i want to sell it i am now concerned about peeling it off and the aftermath

Yeah it was unfortunate. It was my first experience with them and the first one coming misaligned was annoying as it was. Everything did look great when it was on but I couldn’t believing how fast the color faded from the edges. It only took a couple months.

If they were easier to swap and replace I’d stick with it but I never want to have to go through that removal process again. Curious if others with dBrand skins on their keyboards experienced anything different.

does anyone know how the leather from dbrand compares to sopiguard?

Has anyone has any luck or horror stories with slick wraps? I feel like i used to use their products 100 years ago on old android phones. I would like to add a skin to my Magic Keyboard.
