Hi!

I hope somebody can help me! I had two large folders on my external hard drive with very important photgraphs for my work. While I tried to send an email today and attaching a couple of the pictures from the folders, safari kept blocking and turning it self off. I thought it was safari which was the problem, but it seemed to be a problem with the cable to my external hard drive instead at the very same moment. The hard drive all of a sudden was gone, and then came back and so on.

I restarted the computer, disconneced the hard drive and wanted to check the images in the folders and I got a chock!!! All the pictures where showing ok as thumbnails, but when i clicked on each picture, only a grey image showed up...I checked all the pictures in the folder and they were all the same. And at the same time I also noticed that I had lost approx 18 GB on my hard drive...

Where did the material go??? I have a feeling there is nothing do to, but before I get completely depressed about this, I just wanted to give it one more try and ask if somebody might have an idea...I hope you do!!!

Thank you!

Greetings,
Lia
