Hi, folks,

I want to display iPhone pictures directly onto my TV using the component (CVBS) input.

Two leads I've had so far (3rd party *and* Apple proprietary) allow me to show movies, but not photos. The movies display just fine, including freeze-frames.

Does the iPhone allow external display of photos - please note I'm not asking about transferring data (that's easily done to another "computing" device), but simple display on a "dumb" device, i.e. a televison's video input.

Cheers,

Ian.

Not sure if I understand your 3rd party solution here. As for myself, I use Apple TV 2 with Airplay to show pictures from my phone and it works great!. One catch though, the TV has to have HDMI input.
