Just as the title says. For the last 5 years, when i plug my phone it, photos will import ONLY the new pictures. I then can select all and past into a separate folder i wish to keep them in. However, i tried this just last night, and it jumbled up all of my pictures. They are no longer in sequential order. This makes it VERY hard for me to find specific pictures.

I don't use albums. I keep all the photos in the Photos app, but i also have separate folders for pics, IE: black 4s, White 5s, White 6s, white iPad, etc. This way when i look for a picture, i know what device i took the picture with and simply scroll through until I find what I'm looking for. This has worked perfectly for me for the 5 years I've been a Mac guy..... now all of a sudden this doesn't work properly anymore. And Photos wants to combine all of my pics into one large folder, and in no particular order. This is very frustrating, I have over 20,000 pics I've taken with my phones alone. (yes, I take a lot of pics)... but the way i do things has always worked, until last night.

Is there any work arounds or ways to fix this, without having to constantly pick and choose and transfer up tl 10,000 pics at a time? I just want to add the few dozen newest ones I've taken at a time. Not the entire folder.
