I don't like Photos, which does not surprise me, because I didn't like iPhoto, either. As most of you know, the default response with either app was to launch itself upon the connection of any camera, including an iPad. My school district currently has 7000 iPads and we're adding more all the time, so as you might imagine, there is a lot of management, config, and repair work to be done.

With iPhoto, we were able to open the preferences and set the default response to "open no application" when an iPad was connected. Sometimes this option was in Image Capture, rather than iPhoto, but it was there. Now it isn't.

I'm speculating that there may be a command line solution on the order of a "defaults write" command that I can use to change this annoying, disruptive, and useless feature.

Anyone know of it?

Thanks,

Well, that's one way. Not what I'm really looking for though. Still looking for a command line solution at this point.
