Photos tab not showing all images

If I open the sidebar and click on Albums - All Photos, everything is there. If I click on Photos, the images in question are not there. They do appear under Shared though. My assumption that the Photos selection should show everything, regardless if it is shared or in an album. Thank you in advance.
