I noticed that photo's taken with a filter will still keep the original "Normal" photo. This causes apps like Dropbox that do the "Auto backups" to not store the photo with the filter effect.

You can test this by taking a photo with the black and white filter on. You can then go back and edit the photo to remove the black and white. So it seems the photo is not actually taken with the filter, but the filter is applied afterwards. I know with HDR there is an option to keep the original photo. Is there not one for filters as well? I would like the photos I take with filters to be backed up to my Dropbox.
 
That's Dropbox's problem to fix, not Apple's. Maybe they'll update their app in the next few days/future to correct it.

Not a problem with dropbox. Not really a problem at all, more of an FYI.

Importing the photo onto the PC or Mac does not retain the filter either.
