Photos to Movie

What software is best to create movies from photos ? I have reviewed "Powerpoint", "iMovie", without success, also others that twist & turn the photos to simulate a movie. I just want to create a flow of photos into a simple show without the sharp transitions.

iPhoto can do it. Simply create a slideshow within the program.

There is simply no way to turn a "Slideshow" into a movie that I can find using both iPhoto & iMovie.

Let me see if I understand this. You have a bunch of assorted pictures you want to put together each on a slide in the form of a movie? Or you made the slideshow and want to make it an automatically playing movie?

Put all images into keynote, export as QuickTime video with automatic traditions between slides. Open iTunes, make a playlist and drag the video in, press play and put in full screen, then press loop.
