Photos to usb

On my MacBook in photos I have my photos organised in 'albums' such as 'holiday 2015' 'holiday 2016' etc.

Why can I not highlight then drag the file to the USB drive to save my photos this way?
 
Photos for whatever reason does not have any option like iPhoto did to export and include your albums. iPhoto had a nice export option where you could have events export as folder then all the photos from that event in a folder.
