Photos unable to upload

Hi,

When I import some RAW files to Photos from my Lumix S5 camera (.rw2) I get a “Unable to upload” tab on the left.

I have tried relogging to iCloud on Mac but it didn’t help.
When I import same files to my iPhone they get uploaded fine and appear on my Mac as well.

It used to work fine on Mac as well.
I’m on Ventura.

Any ideas?

That's my idea. I presume that when it worked you had an earlier OS version.
If it's a bug, it's not the only one.

Try a USB card reader (instead of reading "directly from the camera").

If the files won't go "directly" from the card reader into your Photo app (Apple or otherwise), try copying them to a folder on the desktop first. And THEN, import into your app.
