Photos... what happened to the checkbox that asked to delete....

UPDATE.. now when I plug my iPhone in and open Photos... this is what I get...

"Cannot access Apple iPhone... This Mac has not yet been granted access to media ob "Apple iPhone". In order to import media to this Mac, tap "Trust" on "Apple iPhone". You may need to unlock the device first."

I have not found "Trust" anywhere... where should it appear? It has not popped up on my iPhone anywhere.
