Photoshop advantage... C2D MBP or PB G4?

Okay... obviously a C2D is a far superior machine to a G4 Powerbook. BUT...! I spend the better part of my day in Photoshop and have been hesitant to pull the trigger on a C2D MBP because I'm concerned about Photoshop under Rosetta.

Can someone who has received their new MBP and run Photoshop give me some insight about how it will stack up against my current setup (Powerbook G4 1.5GHz, 1GB RAM)?

I'd love to hear it from someone who's used CS2 on their new MBP... thanks!

i use photoshop as well, i read in a mac magazine that when they reviewed the 17 inch mbp (regular core duo), photoshop was slower than the older macs. the guide recommended to wait until later to buy it when the new adobe suite comes out.

im not sure how much faster the c2d is than the normal Cd in photoshop.

personally for me, i couldn't wait an di ordered my 17 inch mbp c2d =p
