Photoshop alternative?

Do any of you know of a good photoshop alternative for Mac? I use GIMP on Windows, but on Mac it still uses the Windows shortcut keys, so it's confusing.

I'm not sure if Pixelmator is powerful enough. I'm a freelance web designer, so I need something that's as powerful as Photoshop. I'll try it out though.

If you truly need something as powerful as Photoshop, then you probably need Photoshop

I checked it out. I don't see any way to configure the gradients though. The gradient options are very limited, unless I'm completely missing something.
