I'm trying to open Canon CR2 raw images in Photoshop CS, which obviously aren't supported. I used Adobe DNG converter (v. 4.3) to convert the CR2 files to DNG, but as it turns out, these DNG files aren't supported either. ...I tried to use a former version of DNG converter (the version released for CS), but it was unable to open the CR2 files.

Am I doing anything wrong?

...Does anyone have any other ideas (like a program that will convert raw to 16-bit TIFF)?

Thanks

OK, this is odd.

I used Graphic Converter to convert all of these images to 16-bit TIFF, and all opened just fine in photoshop, except the last one (the same image I had been using to test photoshop the entire time).

You guessed it - every other dng image opened in photoshop perfectly.

I have no idea why that last image won't import as dng or tiff. (They're actually consecutive, identical exposures taken of the same object.)
