Ever since I tried the Photoshop CS3 trial, I have had this weird issue where whenever a new window appears (such as the new file window, the effects window, the color picker, etc.), I can not click on it or edit its contents until I click on the desktop (activating finder as my active app) and then click on the window. As you can imagine, this gets extremely frustrating after a while. I bought Design Premium, and the problem still remains. I even tried repairing Photoshop with the installation DVD, and all that did was mess up my screen resolution every time I logged in (this took me for ever to fix by the way). If anybody has any help to offer, I would except it gladly. This problem is driving me crazy!

Here is my computer information, in case it helps:
  • Apple Powerbook G4 15"
  • 1.25 GHz
  • 1.5 GB RAM
  • I am using Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended
  • I have 15 GB available

I have have friends with an iBook G4 12" and a Macbook pro 15", and this problem does not appear on either of their Photoshops (they have CS3 extended too). My other username on my computer seems to be fine too. I tried deleting the prefs and that didn't do anything. Thanks Again!
