Hello,
I am a user of Photoshop CS3 and since last week I have been having trouble 'cropping' images on photoshop. The problem is that when I crop the image, the crop is fine, except that my photo size is DRAMATICALLY reduced to about 10% of what its original size was. This has meant I can't crop my images.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Could I have changed a setting by mistake? Please advice.

Thank you :)

When you have the Crop tool selected, check out the toolbar at the top.

Are there any values in the width, height and resolution fields? If so, use the clear button to the right of them to remove and reset things back to normal.

Check your save settings too, you may be saving as a really compressed jpeg (quality 7 is normally decent for viewing on computers).

What is your original file format? What file format are you saving too (and settings if there are any)?

When you select the crop tool, make sure the resolution is at least 300.
