hey I just got photoshop CS3 and it seems that every picture that i click on in my pictures folder or any other locations always opens in photoshop. This is really starting to get on my nerves. Does anyone have a solution? It would love for this to stop happening. The only time I want to see photoshop is when I open it from my applications folder, not when i do anything else on my mac. Also why does there appear to be an option to open photo with Opera when i right click on an image and use the open with... feature? Is this a feature of photo shop? If it is how do I get rid of it? Thanks in advance for any replies and solutions...I'm new to photoshop

thanks!! :):apple::D

Right click on such an image and choose "Get Info" from the menu.

Find the section in the Get Info window labelled "Open with:".

Select, say, "Preview" from the drop down menu.

Finally, click on "Change All...".

Good luck.

Ditto what Infrared said on changing the types of files Photoshop opens. You'll have to do it for all the different file formats you want Preview to open.

You could also just Quick Look an image by selecting it and pressing the space bar (or right-clicking and choosing "Quick Look...").

Opera is a web browser.
