Photoshop CS5 is quite slow... anybody know why?

Hey all, recently I've realized that Photoshop seems to be quite slow. I thought it may be due to the low disk space I have on the main hard drive (SSD, 3.5GB remaining) so I disabled it as a scratch disk, but it didn't seem to solve anything. Other than that, I haven't changed any default settings. Any ideas? :)
