I would like to be able to use the full capabilities of Photoshop Elements. I saw Photoshop Elements 6: The Missing Manual which is very extensive but appears to be useful. However, I was wondering what all of you recommend.
I edit the photos I shoot by doing color correction, red eye correction and adjust lighting.
However, I also like to edit old photographs from the 1940s - 1970s (yellow discolored photos, creases, water stains).
Lastly, I like to make composite photos by cutting people from one photo and adding them to another.
I get confused regarding editions since there is a Windows based PE6. Are the principles the same?
What books do you recommend? (ie Classroom in a book, For Dummies, Teach yourself visually, Quick start guide).
