Has anyone seen any info on whether there will be a Universal Binary of Photoshop Elements released? I know that Photoshop will at some point, but that software is horrendously expensive.

If not, Mac users are going to be left without any relatively cheap Photo editing software. (iPhoto is still VERY basic) Trying to run it under emulation is hardly the best solution.

I would imagine so; Adobe are doing the work to port Photoshop; some of which should be directly transferable to Elements. I doubt they'll do an update for Elements, it might just be that the next version is a Universal binary. Who knows... perhaps that's why there's no Elements 4 for the Mac?

On another note, the GIMP is apparently being OSXised rather than running under X11 which would be a great alternative!

Where did you see that?
