I am working away from home in the middle of nowhere and I have dug out an old Macbook (i think it is the 2006/7 model). I have been playing with photoshop on my newer Macbook Pro but wondered what older version of photoshop would (if any) run on the older Macbook as I don't want to take the new one where I am going. I have updated to OS 10.6.8 as I know nothing will be compatable with anything older. Some of the details from About My Mac are:
Model identifier MacBook1,1
Intel Core Duo
2GHz
No# of processors - 1
Total number of cores - 2
L2 Cache - 2MB
Memory 2GB
Bus Speed - 667MHz

I also know that the built in graphics card could cause some problems with Photoshop compatability. This one has he GMA 950, GPU, VRAM 64MB.

If this isn't going to be possible can anyone recommend an equivelant software I can use or is it possible to "turn off" the compatability check in CS5.

Regards

Steven
