I know illustrator has the ability to make symbols that you can save and reuse graphics. I currently find a need to have that functionality in photoshop CS2. I want to create a library of graphics I am reusing over and over for mockups.

Generic web items like radio buttons, scrollbars, etc. But also client specific buttons and graphic resources.

Other than creating a file with all these things I can drag out of, is there another way to do this in photoshop. Searching the help file I can't find anything.

Do you have Indesign? You could try creating object libraries in that and dragging the objects into Photoshop files.

Or creating large Photoshop files with many objects in separate layer sets.
