Photoshop Nik plugins crash photoshop in High Sierra

I use Photoshop (PS) a lot and really love the Nik Collection of plugins for better creativity and photo improvement. All worked fine in OS Sierra but in High Sierra PS will crash. Apple does not seem to care and there seem to be a lot of apps that don't work in HS. I'd love to go back to Sierra but it seems I can't....color me PO'd

I had the same issue when i re-intalled Photoshop and Nik collection on HS.

To fix this, go into settings for EACH plug-in and set it to "apply filtered effect to the current layer". This will stop it from crashing and function before as normal.
