Photoshop Programme Error

this keeps popping up in photoshop CS2

It'll keep coming up 3 or 4 times, then goes away for a while...

Then you'll perform a task, such as sampling a colour, and it'll come up another 3 or 4 times...

It's slowing me down no end.

Any ideas....?
