After using "MGI Photosuite 4" for years on Windows, I find it is not functional on Mac. Now, I am considering "Adobe Photoshop". Reviewing the thread's regarding Photoshop I still have a question: Will Photoshop "Cut" & 'Paste" photo pieces together like Photosuite ? I like to make Cartoon's using various parts & pieces from other cartoon's or photos creating a one of a kind photo or cartoon. Therefore, before going through multi "Trial" runs, does anyone know which "Photoshop" version will fulfill the above mentioned ?

Thanks simsaladimbamba, all I have to do now is learn how to operate the program.
Reading the instructions and comprehending them may take time, something I have being the download is free.
Thanks much simsaladimbamba, I owe you a beer !

You do not need PS for that, Pixelmator or Gimp can do what you want.

What they said

You're getting a sledgehammer to smash a peanut there. Pixelmator is an excellent application, and does a lot of the things PS can do. PS IMO is easier for "design" work, but Pixelmator will handle photo/image manipulation admirably
