How does Photostream work exactly? I thought if I enable it, I could access all my photos from all iDevices on all iDevices.

I enabled Photostream on both my iPhone 5s and my iPad Air 2, but I only see SOME photos from the iPhone on the iPad.

It's not even the latest something photos, it just seems like only two random "moments" are there.

You need enable iCloud Photo Library, not photo stream

But I want to use photostream, not iCloud Library. I have more than 10 GB photos on my iPhone which I also want to have on my iPad automatically. How do I do that? Why did photostream work with some about 50) photos??

Only way I can think of is to add them to a shared album, which is basically part of Photostream anyway.

just an FYI the photos on photostream are only saved for 30 days. You may want to find a more permanent storage solution. See site above for more info.
