PhotoStream not showing thumbnails after upgrade to iPhoto 9.5

I've upgraded to iPhoto 9.5 but when I click iCloud on the left sidebar to see my PhotoStream thumbnails dont appear for images. Only new pics seem to appear. Here is what I see:

If I click the empty thumbnail I see the full size photo which is odd. Anyone else seen this?
