Photostream question

I recently restored my computer and because of that I no longer have the newest version of iPhoto. My iPhone keeps hanging on the last step of syncing, so I was thinking of just giving it a restore to give it a clean sync. My contacts are synced, music is whatever, mainly worried about the photos. Photostream on my phone is updating. If I restore my phone will those photos be lost, or will they still be in my photostream somehow?
