PHPBB3 and joomla 1.5 - on post of new article post topic in forum?

Like it is on here? Is there an easy way to do this?

I have tried JFusion but could not get it to work. I do not need users copied or anything like that. I just need articles copied to the forum for comments.

For now I have just been copying the text for the article and linking to the article in the forum post and vise versa.

You could just modify the script that adds the post to the db and also manually add the post to the forum. (After checking what tables get updated when a news post gets added in the forum). Seems like a pretty simple thing to do.

MR seems to be doing something similar with macrumors.com & the page1 rumor forum.
