HI

I have just started with a mac mini running lion server and am very new to mac's

I am however very experienced with windows pc's and php/mysql which I have been coding for some time now.

I set up a native web server on my mac with little trouble but when I installed phpmyadmin I found that once I had logged in - the page is simply blank.

I can log in from another machine using the mac's IP and get the phpmyadmin pages no trouble, but from the mac itself there is nothing beyond the login page.

I tried editing the config.inc.php file and changing the [host] = 'localhost' to 127.0.0.1 as per lots of advice on the web.

I even tried removing the ipv6 hosts from my host files all to no avail.

I do not wish to instal MAMP if I can possibly avoid it but have run out of ideas regarding this.

can anyone help?
