Ok, so I have a newer iMac that has a DVD physically stuck inside. I tried everything, credit card method, cd method, tilting and leaving it face up and face down and then hitting eject. No Luck.
There is not even a Disk Icon showing up. But when I do a force eject through terminal, it sounds like it wants to come out, but it won't.
I was even able to get a CD to insert into the drive and normally eject!
So at this point I am guessing it is just lodged in there and my only bet is to take it in to the store (or take the risky route and try to remove the cover and take it out myself). Am I correct or is there still hope it might reposition itself into a good spot to still pop out?
ANY advice is appreciated.
