Physician with a new ipad, looking for case

Hi everyone, I am looking for a lightweight case or some kind of protective shell for my new ipad 3 that I can keep with me on rounds that'll keep the thing from getting scratched up.

I guess its probably too much to ask for some kind of case that has a strap on it that can allow me to hide it under my white coat while walking around too huh? (at least without looking totally dorky haha).

There are 5000 cases out there and I really dont know where to even begin, so I'm just looking for some suggestions..

Although without a strap, I recommend Piel Frama leather journal style case. Very elegant and durable. Made in Spain and not that expensive. Among the best quality cases out there. eBay or Amazon, as well as the company's web site.

If you're just looking for something simple, I use the Apple smart cover with a Belkin Snap shield on the back.

The 2nd Gen Belkin snap shield actually fits just fine on the new iPad but if you're picky you could wait for the new version:

I've tried multiple cases but this is the slimmest solution that I could find that meets my needs. Another option that's a more classic look and feels great to carry is the Saddleback Leather case:

I use my iPad on rounds all the time, I have a incipio feather back case which is compatible with the smart cover from Apple. Cheap and effective combination. I highly recommend it.

A Padlette with a back snap-on shell like SwitchEasy/Incipio and so on. Personally, I'd only go with SwitchEasy but they don't have any ready at the moment.

The Clamcase adds almost 2 pounds to the weight of the iPad. Not my idea of fun. I'd leave the Clamcase in my office and just take the iPad.
