Picasa rejecting newer photos.

Picasa Help thinks problem is with Mac. Any one with experience here ??

Picasa rejecting newer photos

MacBookPro OSX10.9.4 - Chrome browser. 3 wks ago re-installed Picasa3 [Pi]. Added more pics to HD & Pi would scan them up ok and add them to the previous pics-but after a little while these newer ones would disappear from Pi's folders. Un-installed Pi twice with CCleaner & CleanMyMac2. Spent 10 days with Picasa Help before they gave up -re "no Mac experience"
Have rebuilt Pi's data base but am short of 'db3' & 2 "plists" in Macs Library Folders for Application Support and Preferences.
