A co worker sold me his 6s for $100 today. The issue is he’s on Verizon and I’m on T-Mobile. Will this 100% work? I plan to take it to T-Mobile tomorrow to see. If not, I can just resell it and get my money back. I’m new to iPhones so I’m not sure what all needs to be done, especially since Verizon is cdma. It looks like it should work, but I’m still an iPhone noob. I figured for only $100 it’s worth the risk.

Can't help with your networks query as I'm a foreigner, but congrats on the bargain buy of a great device.

I'm in the UK so can't advise re carriers, but $100 for an iPhone 6s is absolutely worth it even if you never used its telephony.

Well, the good news is that it is unlocked, as all Verizon phones were sold unlocked. The only potential bad news I can think of is that it might not support all of the LTE bands that T-Mobile uses (or any?).

EDIT: it looks like the only difference in LTE bands for the various models is band 30.

Sounds like you got an amazing deal OP. I still use a 6S and it more than holds its own against newer iPhones. I would go as far to say it’s the best iPhone I’ve owned.

I can’t answer your question about US networks though. Enjoy the phone.

All the established T-Mobile bands are supported by all the 6S iPhones, so you should be fine there. Verizon doesn't (didn't) lock phones, so you should be good to go as long as it isn't iCloud locked.

Do they have any more for $100. I have cash.

What color and storage your 6S is?
