Sorry but I just can't contain my excitement!! Check again after only a couple of minutes and shipments slipped to 2-3 weeks. Hope you guys had the same luck.

the store availability was long after the shipping started to slip. in fact 64GB still available by me for Nov 3.

I have to work on Friday all day so I chose in store pickup so I could just go after work and not worry about my driver leaving it on my doorstep like he did my iMac (Good thing I have a great neighbor who happened to be home and put it in her home waiting for me to get home).

The idea of going to the Apple Store on introduction day does not get me excited. It will be a hot mess!

Much rather have UPS deliver to my office and restore with iTunes any day.

I guess we all have choice.

Waiting another 6 weeks is worthy of excitement? Wow. If I really wanted one, I would show up at a store this Friday and see what I can get.
