I usually pick up at the Apple Store but this year I will just ship it home most likely since they won't be installing the screen protectors at my city's Apple Stores. Which did you do for yours or will you plan on doing?

I always pick up in store as I don't feel like waiting all day for UPS to decide they want to deliver to me. 8PM still counts as Launch Day in their minds....NOT mine....

I was the first one they let in the store for the 11 Pro Max as they know me.

I have been too for every launch since they started in store pickup except the 10. The 10 I had to wait at ATT store all night to get at 8am for walk ins. I think that was the year Apple didn’t do in store only carriers did.

Oh that’s lame. We should have a title for the OG pre-iPhone members when the site was smaller. Damn I was still an undergrad when I started posting here. And iPhone wasn’t released yet. I think I had the g4 sunflower iMac when I became a a member.

Since the apple store near me (literally 2 minute walk) is temporarily closed, I don't have any choice but to have it shipped to my home. There is an apple store 1 h 17 minute drive from where I am, but not worth the time and gas just for a phone and to come back. No thanks.

Shipped home. I don’t want to deal with the crowds at the apple store. Besides, I can have it held at the UPS store, I don’t even have to wait all day.

I'm just gonna get it shipped home so I can run to the door and look every time I hear a truck outside all day. :D For my XS Max, the poor UPS driver was getting followed by creepy cars and was afraid, I felt really bad for him that day.

I'd love to get it as pickup in store, but not with a pandemic that's spiking in bigger cities. Hard pass.
