Picking up FedEx package marked "not due for delivery"

Anybody else have any experience with this?

I have a package that isn't scheduled to be delivered until Wednesday. I just checked the tracking info though and it says it arrived at my local FedEx facility on Friday but was marked "package not due for delivery."

Is there any chance I could just drive down there and pick it up?


I appreciate any info you have.

Did you call FedEx to ask them?

Not trying to be an a**, FedEx would be your best source of information.

Yeah, they wouldn't give me any straight answers. The guy I talked to was like a pull-string doll with only 3 different responses programmed in. Was hoping somebody had some first hand experience.
