iPad Picking up the iPad at midnight.

The only place you have the possibility or getting an iPad Air at midnight is Walmart. (Which also happens to sell it for $479)

Anyone confirmed if your local Walmart has any in stock?

The Apple store on 5th ave is open 24 hours- but i bet they hold the line until 8am...?

I think I've read I other threads that Walmart doesn't sell them at midnight, they make people wait until 8a.

I could be mistaken though, and it could very well depend on your location.

Many people have reported they were able to buy them at a minute past 12 at Walmart in the past.

Just stopped by a local Sams Club at 9am Thursday. Person that works the phone/tablet area was pretty sure they were getting Ipads, but not for sure. Or what kind.

When I was upfront, I saw them in the cage. Maybe 15-20 Ipad Air. I actually got to hold one as I showed the girl how to read the size. She said they only sell wifi - no cellular.

Did not think to ask the price to see if they were discounting them at all.
