When I reserved the iPhone 4 at Apple store, I reserved using my wife's number, but I'm thinking on launch day when I pick it up, can I use my number instead to activate it? I want to do this in case my preorder at AT&T messed up, I'll cancel my AT&T preorder and I'll pick my reserve at Apple store and activate it under my number instead and my wife can wait because she wanted the white iPhone instead. We are on a family plan. I'm thinking Apple is not really going to be strict about this?

I was wondering the same thing so I did some searching and came up with this. From what I've experienced as long as you are an authorized user (you can use AT&T's wireless account manager on their website to add your name on the list) you should be able to pick up a phone for the family plan.

If I'm wrong and anyone else can shed more light on the subject I'd appreciate it as well
