Pico Projector Accessory for iPad? Worth it?

new to the forum. I saw this vid

and i wanted to get input from other iPad user's perspective. Has anyone tried this, do the colors come out well enough?

Very very dim...only works in small rooms with lights out....best projector (I've had 4) is the very slim and packable Epson powerlight 1700 series...a full strength projector.....

That is definitely a fine projector. However, I'm not at the financial place where I can drop $850 on a projector just yet. I saw this coupon, too which got me interested http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1197345/

The only spec you need to know is the picos are 50 lumens......real projectors are> 2000.....a flashlight is brighter....google some reviews....
