'Rubbish' is a bit of a stretch. The w810i is still a very good phone. My wife has it and loves it. The removable SD card and the built-in FM Transmitter are cool, it gets great reception, the camera flash is a nice feature, and it has excellent sound- it is a Sony.

The iPhone is clearly a superior product, but to call the w810i 'rubbish' is unfair.

God, what a disappointment. I know you guys are going to kill me, but I sold my first gen iPhone for this phone, thinking 3G would be enough to save it. Yeah I know.

Hubby has that phone and loves it. I borrowed it once to use Tomtom and it slid off my lap and scratched the case REALLY badly. Ooops!

This is what I've got. Nice enough phone, but rubbish battery.

I actually rather like my Sammy, and will be giving it to my mum so she can join AT&T, but it's definitely always been a placeholder for a 2nd gen iPhone. On its own merits, though, certainly better than my [freaking] Verizon RAZR.

not a joke..

I just sold my iPhone last week ($300 with two scratches on the screen!), so this is the phone I have to use to tie me over until I get a new iPhone..
